Bezpieczeństwo na drogach zależy głównie od nas samych
Bezpieczeństwo na drogach zależy głównie od nas samych – uczula policja. Ponawiają apel o ostrożność w związku z rozpoczynającym się okresem jesienno – zimowym. To czas na drogach najbardziej niebezpieczny.
W ubiegłym roku od września do listopada odnotowano blisko 30 procent wszystkich wypadków do których doszło w województwie pomorskim w 2015 roku oraz 28 procent ogółu wypadków ze skutkiem śmiertelnym. W pierwszych 19. dniach października ubiegłego roku na pomorskich drogach doszło do 154 wypadków, w których zginęło 11 osób, a 204 zostały ranne. Ten sam okres w październiku tego roku pokazuje, że na naszych drogach jest bezpieczniej – niemniej doszło do 104. wypadków, 5 osób zginęło, a 123 zostały ranne. Szczególnie narażoną grupą w tym okresie są piesi. Szybko zapadający zmrok, ograniczona widoczność, niestosowanie elementów odblaskowych na ubraniach w połączeniu z niedostateczną ostrożnością skutkują dużą liczbą potrąceń.
