Studenci ze wschodu uczyli się samorządności w Wejherowie
Przyjechali by uczyć się samorządności i poznać nowe doświadczenia – kilkunastu studentów i działaczy społecznych z Ukrainy, Mołdawii i Białorusi gościło w Wejherowie na obradach miejskiej rady. Wcześniej zwiedzili miasto i spotkali się z samorządowcami by zadawać pytania.
– Niektóre zaskakiwały, bo dla nas po 25 latach samorządności były to sprawy oczywiste, a dla nich zupełna nowość – mówi prezydent Wejherowa, Krzysztof Hildebrandt.
Gości interesowały także tematy związane m.in z transportem, gospodarką komunalną i współpracą samorządów z lokalnymi mediami. Podkreślali, że to nie tylko krajobrazowa wycieczka, bo podpatrzone rozwiązania są później wdrażane w ich ojczyznach. Goście zza wschodniej granicy przyjechali na Pomorze na zaproszenie Centrum Współpracy Młodzieży z Gdyni.
