Rak to nie wyrok – przekonywano na „Marszu Różowej Wstążki”
By budzić świadomość i nadzieję – prawie dwieście kobiet przeszło ulicami Gdyńskiego Śródmieścia. Podczas Marszu Różowej Wstążki panie przekonywały, że życie po amputacji piersi może wciąż być normalne.
Panie z pomorskich klubów amazonek z spotykają się na marszach w Gdyni od 19 lat w październiku – miesiącu dedykowanemu walce z rakiem. Spotkania są okazją do integracji, wymiany doświadczeń i podtrzymania na duchu nowych członkiń – mają też przypominać że najskuteczniejszym sposobem na walkę z nowotworem są regularne, profilaktyczne badania. Amazonki przekonywały też, że mastektomia ton nie koniec świata. W gdyńskim marszu udział wzięły panie z 15 pomorskich klubów amazonek m.in. z Trójmiasta, Chojnic, Rumi, Wejherowa i Pucka.
