Pomnik Gerarda Labudy stanie w Luzinie
W szóstą rocznicę śmierci profesora Gerarda Labudy – w Luzinie stanie jego pomnik. Uroczystości upamiętniające najwybitniejszego historyka z Kaszub odbędą się w najbliższą niedzielę.
– Stanie on w nowym centrum Luzina, gdzie będzie przypominał Kaszubom o ich wybitnym rodaku – mówi dyrektor luzińskiej biblioteki Maria Krośnicka.
Projektantem pomnika jest Tomasz Sobisz. Przedstawia on profesora Labudę trzymającego bursztyn . To alegoria do badania dziejów Kaszub, którym profesor poświęcił swoje życie. Pomnik wykonano w skali 1:1 z brązu spiżowego. Niedzielne uroczystości w Luzinie rozpoczną się mszą świętą o godzinie 14:30. Po niej nastąpi przemarsz do nowego centrum Luzina i odsłonięcie pomnika.
