W Puckim Hospicjum świętowano rocznicę otwarcia placówki
Gdyby nie zaangażowanie naszych wolontariuszy, nie byłoby nas tutaj – mówili pracownicy Puckiego Hospicjum pw. św Ojca Pio. W sobotę świętowano tam siódmą rocznicę otwarcia placówki.
– Przetrwaliśmy, dzięki zaangażowaniu naszych wolontariuszy – podkreślała wiceprezes hospicjum, Anna Jochim-Labuda.
Uroczystości rozpoczęto od wciągnięcia polskiej flagi na maszt, którą w maju placówka, jako jedyne hospicjum w Polsce, otrzymała od prezydenta Andrzeja Dudy. Odsłonięto też pamiątkową tablicę na cześć twórcy hospicjum, nieżyjącego już księdza Jana Kaczkowskiego. 7 lat temu, kiedy otwierano placówkę był to jeden budynek z kilkoma łóżkami. Dzisiaj to rozbudowany kompleks, a władze hospicjum planują kolejne inwestycje. Hospicjum w Pucku otworzono w 2008 roku – dzisiaj w ramach opieki stacjonarnej obsługuje niemal 200 terminalnie chorych pacjentów rocznie.
