Kolejne buspasy powstaną w Gdyni – zapowiedział rzecznik prasowy Zarządu Komunikacji Miejskiej w Gdyni. Marcin Gromadzki był gościem w naszej porannej audycji z okazji rozpoczynającego się Europejskiego Tygodnia Zrównoważonego Transportu.
Jego celem jest popularyzowanie komunikacji miejskiej i zachęcenie do przesiadania się z samochodów do autobusów. – Często unijne dofinansowanie modernizacji ulic jest uzależnione od usprawnienia komunikacji publicznej – mówił rzecznik ZKM Gdynia. Marcin Gromadzki zapowiedział, że w mieście wytyczane będą kolejne buspasy – w południowej części oraz na ulicy Morskiej, gdzie takie rozwiązania już są stosowane. Pasy dla autobusów i trolejbusów obejmą miejsca teraz wydzielone z ruchu bądź prawoskręty.
Europejski Tydzień Zrównoważonego Transportu potrwa do 22 września. Dla mieszkańców Trójmiasta przygotowano wiele atrakcji, w tym przejazdy zabytkowym trolejbusem na trasie Gdynia Dworzec Główny PKP – Plac Kaszubski. Jutro będzie można też skorzystać z wyznaczonych, bezpłatnych linii – informuje Metropolitalny Związek Komunikacyjny Zatoki Gdańskiej. A 22 września w Dzień Bez Samochodu wszyscy właściciele samochodów będą mogli jeździć transportem miejskim za darmo.
