Ogólnopolski Zlot Asystentów Rodziny w Gdyni
To samorządy powinny zadbać o rozwój asystentury rodzinnej – mówiła minister rodziny, pracy i polityki społecznej w Gdyni. Elżbieta Rafalska spotkała się tam z uczestnikami piątego Ogólnopolskiego Zlotu Asystentów Rodziny.
– Przede wszystkim brakuje jednak świadomości, że zatrudnienie asystenta jest dla samorządów opłacalne – podkreśla Franciszek Bronk z Miejskiego Ośrodka Pomoc Społecznej w Gdyni.
To jeden z najnowszych zawodów, na rynku funkcjonujący od 2011 roku. Asystenci mają długoterminowo wspierać rodziny z problemami opiekuńczo – wychowawczymi. Szefowa resortu podkreślała, że takich samorządów jak Gdynia, która realizowała swój autorski program asystentury jeszcze przed wejściem w życie rozwiązań systemowych, wciąż jest za mało. Niskie zarobki i praca na umowach cywilno-prawnych to tylko niektóre problemy trapiące asystentów – mówili uczestnicy zlotu. W całym kraju w zawodzie asystenta rodziny pracuje obecnie 3 tysiące 800 osób, w województwie pomorskim jest ich ponad 240.
