O walorach żurawiny na Festiwalu Żurawiny Kaszubskiej
Żurawina zapobiega nowotworom – głoszą najnowsze wyniki badań naukowców. O walorach i właściwościach odżywczych tego owocu mówiono dzisiaj w Kościerzynie podczas trwającego 3 Festiwalu Żurawiny Kaszubskiej.
– Najnowsze badania udowadniają też pożyteczne działanie żurawiny w walce z nowotworami – mówiła podczas konferencji dietetyk Genowefa Gierszewska.
Owoc ten wymieniany jest jako jeden z najzdrowszych dla organizmu ludzkiego. Jego spożywanie zapobiega między innymi chorobom układu moczowego, przeziębieniom i miażdżycy. Żurawina występuje przede wszystkich na podmokłych terenach i torfowiskach. Powinno się ją zbierać dopiero późną jesienią – przekonywał dzisiaj Zbigniew Popławski z Regionalnej Dyrekcji Lasów Państwowych w Gdańsku.
Jutro w ramach Festiwalu odbędzie się rajd rowerowy i festyn żurawinowy w Dobrogoszczu. Podczas niego będzie można spróbować kuchni regionalnej, zakupić żurawinę i obejrzeć występy artystyczne.
