Za parkowanie w Wejherowie można już płacić telefonem komórkowym – za pomocą dwóch bezpłatnych aplikacji: SkyCash i moBILET.
Rozwiązanie to działa w kilkudziesięciu miastach na terenie całej Polski i umożliwia płacenie wyłącznie za faktyczny czas parkowania oraz zdalne przedłużanie postoju. W Wejherowie taka możliwość jest od 01 września – informuje Urząd Miasta. Procedurę opisano na jego stronie internetowej. Kierowca uruchamia SkyCash w telefonie, otwiera zakładkę mobiParking i wybiera jedną z trzech metod parkowania: na czas, za kwotę lub Start/Stop, z możliwością zatrzymania naliczania opłaty w dowolnie wybranym momencie. Należność za postój jest pobierana z elektronicznej portmonetki, zasilanej za pomocą karty płatniczej bądź przelewów.
Użytkownicy starszych telefonów komórkowych dokonują płatności przy użyciu SMSów lub szybkich kodów. Trzeba też oznaczyć pojazd – identyfikator mobiParking można sporządzić odręcznie, pobrać ze strony internetowej bądź otrzymać w Wejherowskim Zarządzie Nieruchomości Komunalnych.
