W Gdyni już dziś uczczą 36 rocznicę strajków
W Gdyni już dziś uczczą 36 rocznicę strajków i podpisania Porozumień Sierpniowych. Jutro w Gdańsku odbędą się uroczystości z udziałem prezydenta Andrzeja Dudy.
Podpisanie porozumienia 31 sierpnia 1980 roku między komisją rządową a komitetem strajkowym stało się początkiem przemian 1989 roku – obalenia komunizmu i końca systemu pojałtańskiego. Delegacja rządowa zgodziła się m.in. na utworzenie nowych, niezależnych, samorządnych związków zawodowych, prawo do strajku, budowę pomnika ofiar grudnia’70 i ograniczenie cenzury. W Gdyni uroczystości rocznicowe rozpoczną się o 18:00 złożeniem kwiatów pod pomnikiem Ofiar Grudnia 70 przy przystanku Gdynia Stocznia. Pół godziny później zaplanowano uroczystą galę w sali koncertowej Zarządu Portu Gdynia. Kolejnych 57. uczestników strajków sierpniowych otrzyma Odznaczenie „Bohaterom Sierpnia ’80 Gdynia”, zaprezentowany zostanie także piąty już tom wydawnictwa „Ludzie Sierpnia ’80 w Gdyni”. Jutro natomiast odbędą się w w Gdańsku uroczystości, w których udział zapowiedział prezydent Andrzej Duda. Rozpoczną się o 14:00 spotkaniem w historycznej sali BHP Stoczni Gdańskiej, a zakończą o 17:00 mszą św. w Bazylice św. Brygidy.
