Potrzebna pomoc by wpisać haft kaszubski na Listę UNESCO
Muzeum Kaszubskie w Kartuzach poszukuje zdjęć i przedmiotów związanych z żukowską szkołą haftu kaszubskiego. Placówka włącza się w starania o wpisanie tej szkoły na Listę Niematerialnego Dziedzictwa Ludzkości UNESCO.
Pod koniec ubiegłego roku dzięki staraniom Mariana Jelińskiego z Fundacji Skansenu Pszczelarskiego haft żukowski został wpisany do Krajowej Listy Niematerialnego Dziedzictwa Kulturowego. Lista Unesco ma być kolejna. – Potrzeba jednak obszernej dokumentacji – wyjaśnia dyrektor kartuskiego muzeum Barbara Kąkol. Kartuska placówka interesuje się informacjami o hafciarkach, hafcie oraz o tradycji wykonywania haftu według założeń żukowskiej szkoły. Osoby, które posiadają ustne przekazy lub zdjęcia zdjęcia proszone są o kontakt z Muzeum Kaszubskim w Kartuzach.
