W Rumi obchodzono dzień patrona świętego Jana Bosko
Była to pierwsza taka uroczystość, założyciel zgromadzenia salezjanów i salezjanek został patronem miasta na początku tego roku.
Na jego cześć odbył się piknik rekreacyjno – sportowy na nowym boisku Salos, które wczoraj nazwano jego imieniem. Podsumowuje kilkudziesięcioletnią działalność salezjanów Rumi burmistrz Michał Pasieczny. Imię św. Jana Bosko nosi wielofunkcyjne boisko przy Bukowej oddane do użytku w czerwcu tego roku.
