Gdyńskie „Jastrzębie” z nagrodą prezydenta miasta – za utrzymywanie się w ścisłej czołówce Polskiej Ligi Futbolu Amerykańskiego.
– Wspieramy klub od 7 lat, bo jest znakomitą sportową wizytówką miasta – mówi prezydent Gdyni Wojciech Szczurek.
Miniony sezon Topligi zawodnicy Seahawks Gdynia zakończyli z wicemistrzostwem. Za ten sukces i promocję swojej dyscypliny otrzymali listy gratulacyjne a klubową kasę zasilił czek na 25 tysięcy złotych. Futboliści Seahawks Gdynia od lat kolekcjonują medale Topligi. Od czasu jej założenia, czyli od 2006 roku, wywalczyli trzy mistrzostwa. W całym sezonie 2016, poza finałem, gdynianie przegrali tylko jeden mecz.
