STRZEPCZ: Świętują 700-lecie parafii
Strzepcz w powiecie wejherowskim świętuje 700-lecie parafii. Z okazji jubileuszu ukaże się specjalna książka, a główne uroczystości zaplanowano na niedzielę.
Dzieje i znaczenie wsi chcą przypomnieć miejscowi pasjonaci historii. Dzisiaj to jedna z wielu wsi w gminie Linia w powiecie wejherowskim. W przeszłości była tu gmina – do 1954 roku, a jeszcze wcześniej dzięki parafii – Strzepcz był centrum życia politycznego i społecznego dla całego regionu. O jego wielkim znaczeniu najbardziej – jak podkreśla Witold Bobrowski – świadczy fakt, że od XVI wieku odbywały się tu sejmiki szlachty pomorskiej. Potem ranga wsi podupadała. Główne uroczystości związane z 700-leciem parafii odbędą się w Strzepczu w najbliższą niedzielę o godzinie 12:00.
