Powstające w Wejherowie Muzeum Piaśnickie apeluje o pomoc w pozyskaniu pamiątek.
Placówka powstała w połowie grudnia ubiegłego roku. Ma upamiętniać ofiary hitlerowców, którzy od października 1939 do kwietnia następnego roku w lasach pod Wejherowem zamordowali od 12. do 14. tysięcy osób – głownie przedstawicieli pomorskiej i kaszubskiej inteligencji. Powstające muzeum apeluje m.in. do rodzin osób, które zostały zamordowane w Piaśnicy. Muzealnikom zależy zarówno na relacjach dotyczących ofiar Piaśnicy, np. momentu ich aresztowania, na przedmiotach związanych z ofiarami oraz wszelkich informacjach o samej Piaśnicy. Nie trzeba przy tym rozstawać się z rodzinnymi pamiątkami – muzeum może je zdigitalizować lub skopiować w inny sposób.
Muzeum Piaśnickie działa tymczasowo przy ulicy Św. Jacka 11/2 w Wejherowie, kontaktować się można także m.in. mailowo pisząc na adres muzeum@muzeumpiasnickie.pl. Placówka działa jako oddział Muzeum Stutthof, docelowo mieścić się będzie w „Villi Musica” przy ulicy Ofiar Piaśnicy w Wejherowie. Otwarcie planowane jest na koniec 2018 roku.
