Na plaży w Gdyni można skorzystać z konsultacji u dermatologa
Na plaży Gdynia Śródmieście dyżurują dermatolodzy – w ramach trzeciej edycji Letniej Akcji Edukacyjnej Rakoobrona. Znaleźć ich można w charakterystycznym, czarnym namiocie.
Kampania ma bowiem zachęcać do profilaktyki czerniaka złośliwego – nowotworu, który może być widoczny gołym okiem, a jego wczesne wykrycie daje 90% szans na wyleczenie. W poprzednich latach z konsultacji skorzystało ponad tysiąc 300 osób, z uwagi na duże zainteresowanie trzecia edycja potrwa cztery tygodnie. Z porady specjalisty może skorzystać każdy, kto do 28. sierpnia przyjdzie do czarnego namiotu na plaży miejskiej w Gdyni. Jest on otwarty w godzinach 11:00 – 16:00. Rozdawane są także ulotki informacyjno – edukacyjne, można sprawdzić swoją wiedzę na temat czerniaka wypełniając krótką ankietę. Organizatorzy kampanii Rakoobrona zachęcają do badań profilaktycznych, ale również do smarowania się kremami z filtrem – najlepiej co półtorej godziny, zakrywania podejrzanych zmian skórnych, noszenia czapek lub chust oraz dobrych okularów przeciwsłonecznych. Przypominają, że czerniak złośliwy może wystąpić nie tylko na skórze, ale również w gałce ocznej czy pod paznokciem.
