Mija 143 rocznica urodzin biskupa Dominika
Dzisiaj mija 143 urodzin jeden z najwybitniejszych Kaszubów, przyjaciela ubogich i skromnych ludzi – biskupa Konstantego Dominika.
143 lata temu, 7 listopada urodził się jeden z najwybitniejszych Kaszubów Sługa Boży ksiądz Konstantyn Dominik. Dzisiaj jego imię otrzyma Akcja Katolicka przy Parafii Podwyższenia Krzyża Świętego w Rumi. Nazywany patronem prostoty, życzliwości i łagodności biskup Dominik pochodził z Gnieżdżewa koło Pucka. Był biskupem pomocniczym diecezji chełmińskiej. Wspierał ubogich i przez wielu już za życia nazywany był świętym. Jego proces beatyfikacyjny rozpoczął się w 1979 roku w Rzymie. Na Kaszubach wciąż żywa jest pamięć o biskupie Dominiku. Niedawno jego biografię wydał kapelan Kaszubów ksiądz profesor Leszek Jażdżewski. A dzisiaj, w rocznicę urodzin, imię biskupa otrzyma Akcja Katolicka w Rumi – mówiła Adela Szramkowska z Akcji Katolickiej w parafii Podwyższenia Krzyża Świętego w Rumi. Dodajmy, że Akcja Katolicka to jeden z ruchów chrześcijańskich zrzeszający katolików świeckich przy parafiach. Nadanie imienia odbędzie się dzisiaj o godzinie 18:30.
