Śmieci do worka a nie do pieca – uczulają w gminie Luzino
O wrzucanie plastikowych odpadów do worków na śmieci a nie do pieca – apelują do mieszkańców w Luzinie.
– Zapach palonego drewna łatwo da się odróżnić od spalanych opakowań z plastiku – mówi wójt Luzina Jarosław Wejer.
Apel władz gminy jest odpowiedzią na prośby mieszkańców, którzy w letnie popołudnia czy wieczory zamiast wypocząć na świeżym powietrzu wdychają szkodliwe związki w dymie z palonych śmieci. Zwraca uwagę, że wydajność odpadów energetycznych jest niewielka, za to konsekwencje dla naszego zdrowia są poważne – bo w dymie są rakotwórcze dioksyny. Śmieci spalane są wieczorami, gdy mieszkańcy podgrzewają wodę – a powinny trafiać do worków na odpady. Spalanie jest ich przecież nieekonomiczne, mówi wójt Wejer. Czym grozi spalanie śmieci w przydomowej kotłowni można się dowiedzieć zaglądając na stronę internetową gminy Luzino. Oprócz informowania samorząd prowadzi też oczywiście kontrole. W ubiegłym roku Referat Gospodarki Komunalnej wysłał upomnienia do 150-u mieszkańców.
