Aktywne lato na plażach w Gdyni – ruszyły zajęcia przygotowane przez Gdyńskie Centrum Sportu, ratownicy pracują na czterech kąpieliskach.
– Będzie tez zumba dla dzieci, do tego wydarzenia kulturalne przygotowane we współpracy z Miejską Biblioteką Publiczną – wylicza dyrektor Gdyńskiego Centrum Sportu Marek Łucyk.
Na plaży w Śródmieściu będą turnieje siatkówki, piłki nożnej i rugby, działać będzie darmowa wypożyczalnia sprzętu. Nowością jest strefa malucha z animacjami sportowymi, spotkaniami edukacyjnymi. Kąpielisko w Śródmieściu jest jednym z czterech, gdzie nad bezpieczeństwem amatorów pływania i sportów wodnych czuwają ratownicy. Pozostałe to: Redłowo, Orłowo i Babie Doły, łącznie 600 metrów strzeżonej linii brzegowej. – Aktywnie spędzać czas w wodzie najlepiej pod okiem ratowników – mówi kierownik Mariny Gdynia Sylwia Mathea-Chwalczewska, dodając że dla bezpieczeństwa wypoczynku bardzo ważna jest rozwaga. Ratowników w kąpieliskach wspiera grupa interwencyjna, która będzie się poruszać między strzeżonymi akwenami. Informacje o plażach w Gdyni – m. in. o kolorze wywieszonej flagi – znaleźć można na stronie Gdyńskiego Centrum Sportu. Jak również program Aktywnego Lata, które na plaży w Śródmieściu potrwa do 31 sierpnia.
