Ponad 10 tysięcy Kaszubów wspólnie bawiło się na 18. Zjeździe we Wdzydzach. Dopisała pogoda i mnóstwo atrakcji, w tym kaszubska biesiada z konkursem na najlepszą kapelę kaszubską, który wygrał zespół Zgriwańce z Kościerzyny.
Uczestnicy Zjazdu spotkali się w tym roku na terenie Kaszubskiego Parku Etnograficznego, który świętuje 110 rocznicę powstania. Tam odbył się jarmark twórców regionalnych, koncerty zespołów folklorystycznych i biesiada pod wielkim namiotem. Uczestnicy do Wdzydz przyjechali tradycyjnym pociągiem Transcassubia.
Mimo popołudniowej burzy i deszczu, który na chwilę przeszkodził w zabawie, na zakończenie Zjazdu wystąpiła Weronika Korthals i Natalia Szroeder. Kaszubi w przyszłym roku spotkają się na kolejnym Zjeździe w Rumi.
