Tutaj czuć ducha kaszubszczyzny mówią władze gminy Kościerzyna, w której jutro odbędzie się największa kaszubska impreza – 18 Światowy Zjazd Kaszubów.
– Od miesiąca są też kaszubskie tablice kierunkowe – mówi zastępca wójta Grzegorz Świtała.
Samorząd należy do najaktywniejszych w wspieraniu nauki języka kaszubskiego i promowaniu naszej kultury.W gminie Kościerzyna we wszystkich szkołach prowadzone są lekcje języka kaszubskiego. Uczęszcza na nie 580 osób, czyli 1/3 wszystkich uczniów w gminie. Tutaj aktywnie działa też oddział Zrzeszenia Kaszubsko – Pomorskiego i 3 zespoły folklorystyczne. Od trzech lat w 52. miejscowościach stoją dwujęzyczne tablice z nazwami wsi.
Jutro we Wdzydzach w gminie Kościerzyna odbędzie się 18. Światowy Zjazd Kaszubów. Impreza odbędzie się na terenie Muzeum – Kaszubskiego Parku Etnograficznego, który w tym roku świętuje 110 rocznicę powstania.
