Stężyca odlicza godziny do rozpoczęcia największego na Kaszubach Triathlonu – Garmin Iron Triathlon odbędzie się w niedzielę.

Zawody w Stężycy zostaną rozegrane na dystansie 1/4 i 1/8 Ironman. Do przepłynięcia będzie prawie kilometrowy odcinek po jeziorze Raduńskim, trasa rowerowa liczyć będzie 45 km długości, a bieg prawie 11 km. Zawodnicy otrzymają limit czasu ukończenia zawodów. Grupa 1/4 Ironman będzie mieć na to 4 godziny. Mieszkańcy miejscowości, przez które przebiega trasa muszą liczyć się w utrudnieniami w ruchu.
Trasy w gminie Stężyca zostaną zamknięte w godzinach od 10.00 do 16.00. Chodzi o drogi w miejscowościach Zgorzałe, Przewóz, Borucino, Żuromino i Stężyca.
