WEJHEROWO: Koniec korków w centrum
Po prawie czterech miesiącach utrudnień w centrum Wejherowa nowe rondo gotowe – o północy zostało otwarte do ruchu przebudowane skrzyżowanie ulic Sienkiewicza, 10-lutego i Świętego Jana. Trwają odbiory techniczne inwestycji, ale po nowym rondzie jeżdżą już samochody, na stare trasy wróciły też autobusy MZK – linii 2, 3 i 16, które przez ostatnie dwa miesiące korzystały z objazdu ulicą Zamkową i Parkową. Rondo ma usprawnić ruch na skrzyżowaniu, umożliwia m.in. bezpośredni przejazd z 10-lutego do św. Jana. Nowe rozwiązanie wraz z blisko dwustumetrowym, oddzielnym pasem zjazdowym ma też umożliwić lepszy dojazd do przejazdu kolejowego i zminimalizować korki przy zamkniętych rogatkach. Inwestycję po połowie sfinansowano ze środków budżetu miasta i pomorskiego urzędu marszałkowskiego.
