Szpitale w Wejherowie i Gdańsku będą spółkami
Szpitale Specjalistyczne w Wejherowie i Gdańsku będą spółkami – zdecydowali wczoraj radni sejmiku województwa pomorskiego. Głównym celem przekształcenia Szpitala Specjalistycznego im. Floriana Ceynowy w Wejherowie i Szpitala Specjalistycznego św. Wojciecha w Gdańsku w spółki będzie oddłużenie placówek. Przekształcenie ma też umożliwić szpitalom rozszerzenie oferty udzielanych świadczeń zdrowotnych. To się nam po prostu opłaca – mówi wicemarszałek województwa pomorskiego, Hanna Zych-Cisoń. I rozwiewa obawy o zamykanie szpitalnych oddziałów, jakie przy takich decyzjach mogą się pojawić. Samorząd województwa będzie mógł przejąć 8 mln zł zobowiązań szpitala na gdańskiej Zaspie i 5 mln zł wejherowskiej placówki. Te pieniądze sejmik chce odzyskać w formie dotacji celowej z budżetu państwa.Decyzja radnych oznacza, że zarząd województwa jako jedyny w kraju skomercjalizuje większość podlegających mu szpitali. Spółkami są już m.in. placówki w Kościerzynie, Pomorskie Centrum Traumatologii i Szpital Dziecięcy w Gdańsku. W trakcie przekształcenia jest szpital specjalistyczny w Prabutach – a w najbliższych planach jest przekształcenie Szpitala PCK w Gdyni Redłowie.
