Straż Miejska w Rumi z certyfikatem
Certyfikacja jest dobrowolnym programem, wdrożonym w 2014 roku. Dotyczy zbioru zasad i reguł pozwalających mundurowym jak najlepiej współpracować z mieszkańcami. Na wniosek danej gminy straż jest poddawana drobiazgowej ocenie.
– Kontrola była u nas w marcu, sprawdzane były wszelkie przejawy naszej działalności – informuje szef strażników w Rumi Roman Świrski.
Nie bez znaczenia są także akcje własne straży – jak wyróżniona w ubiegłym roku przez wojewodę kampania informacyjna dla rowerzystów czy cyklicznie organizowane w Rumi skierowane do właścicieli psów, sprawdzania numeracji posesji czy „Bezpieczne lato”. Do tej pory certyfikaty z rąk pomorskiego wojewody otrzymały straże miejskie w Gdańsku, Starogardzie Gdańskim, Tczewie i Malborku.
