Czy Droga Czerwona będzie finansowana z budżetu państwa?
Jest realna szansa, by budowa planowanej Drogi Czerwonej była finansowana z budżetu państwa – informuje Urząd Miasta w Gdyni. Mowa o trasie, która połączyłaby gdyński port z obwodnicą Trójmiasta. O planach wpisania jej na listę strategicznych zadań dla Polski mówił podczas wizyty w Trójmieście wiceminister infrastruktury i budownictwa Jerzy Szmit.
Wstępna deklaracja została złożona po krótkim spotkaniu wiceministra z przedstawicielami portów w Gdyni i Gdańsku oraz gdyńskiego samorządu. Decyzje w sprawie poszerzenia listy inwestycji powinny zapaść do końca roku. Gdyński samorząd oszacował koszt wykonania drogi na 1 mld 300 mln zł. Gotowe są trzy koncepcje jej przebiegu, jednak ze względu na skalę inwestycji Gdynia ani nawet trójmiejska aglomeracja prawdopodobnie nigdy nie byłyby w stanie samodzielnie wyłożyć tak ogromnych pieniędzy na jej realizację. Gdyński port jest jednym z trzech strategicznych portów morskich w kraju i jedynym, który nie ma połączenia z systemem dróg krajowych.
