W gdańskim szpitalu im. Mikołaja Kopernika zakończyła się budowa Wielospecjalistycznego Oddziału Zabiegowego.
W budynku szpitala przy ulicy Powstańców Warszawskich powstał 10-łóżkowy oddział z czterema pokojami, każdy z nich z własną łazienką. Wydzielono też trzystanowiskową salę pobytu dziennego dla pacjentów wymagających jedynie kilkugodzinnej obserwacji po zabiegu. Powstały również pomieszczenia pomocnicze, m.in. gabinet diagnostyczno- zabiegowy, wydzielono izbę przyjęć z poczekalnią. W części operacyjnej są dwie sale do zabiegów chirurgicznych. Na oddziale przewidziane są zabiegi z zakresu ortopedii i traumatologii narządu ruchu, otolaryngologii, okulistyki, chirurgii, ginekologii, urologii i neurochirurgii.
Inwestycja została sfinansowana ze środków samorządu województwa pomorskiego w wysokości blisko 3. mln zł, zaś wkład własny Spółki COPERNISUS PL wyniósł 350 tys. zł.
