Worki pełne papierosów bez polskich znaków akcyzy wykryli pomorscy celnicy na żaglowcu, który wrócił z rejsu szkoleniowego do Gdyni.
Funkcjonariusze Wydziału Morskiego Zwalczania Przestępczości na przemyt natrafili podczas kontroli 15 maja wieczorem. W magazynach żagli, szwalni i maszynowni jednostki wykryli w sumie 37 tys. sztuk papierosów o wartości prawie 25 tys. zł, które nie zostały zgłoszone w trakcie odprawy wejściowej żaglowca. Nielegalny towar ukryty był w pomieszczeniach ogólnodostępnych. Żadna z osób obecnych na pokładzie jednostki nie przyznała się do próby przemytu papierosów – poinformował rzecznik prasowy Izby Celnej w Gdyni Marcin Daczko.
W sprawie zostało wszczęte postępowanie karne skarbowe.
