Mogą w nim wziąć udział mieszkańcy Rumi i okolic powyżej 14 roku życia, którzy kochają śpiew i chcą się rozwijać w tym kierunku – zachęca MDK Rumia na swoim facebookowym profilu. 10. najlepszych uczestników weźmie udział w warsztatach wokalnych oraz z interpretacji piosenki. Mają ich one przygotować do Gali Finałowej 02 lipca. Wyłoniony na niej zwycięzca otrzyma zaproszenie do studia nagrań w celu nagrania profesjonalnego demo wokalnego. Casting w Rumi odbędzie się 24 maja w Miejskim Domu Kultury, w godzinach 16:00 – 20:00.
Formuła projektu jest bliźniaczo podobna do konkursu Kaszubski Idol po raz szósty już organizowanego przez Radio Kaszëbë dzięki wsparciu Ministerstwa Spraw Wewnętrznych i Administracji. Nasze castingi ruszają 16 maja w Bytowie, potem będziemy w Kartuzach, Gdyni, Kościerzynie, Wejherowie. Dolna granica wieku uczestników Kaszubskiego Idola to ukończone 13 lat, górna – 30.
