Nowa linia autobusowa połączy dwa osiedla w Wejherowie
Mieszkańcy Wejherowa będą mieli do dyspozycji nowe połączenie autobusowe. Osiedla: Przemysłowe i Śmiechowo Północ skomunikuje linia nr 6.
– To odpowiedź na petycje mieszkańców obu osiedli – poinformował prezes wejherowskiego Miejskiego Zakładu Komunikacji, Czesław Kordel.
Trasa nowej linii będzie wiodła od zakładu energetycznego na Przemysłowej przez północną część Wejherowa zahaczając m. in. o szpital i Zespół Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnym nr 3. Końcowym przystankiem będzie rondo przy Chmielewskiego. W pierwszy, na razie testowy przejazd autobus wyjechał dzisiaj – sprawdzano m.in. systemy elektroniczne i czas przejazdu. – Kolejna, ekonomiczna ewaluacja za około pół roku zadecyduje o „być albo nie być” szóstki – mówi prezydent Wejherowa Krzysztof Hildebrandt. Uruchomienie nowej linii kosztowało miejski budżet 200 tysięcy złotych, pasażerowie będą mogli zacząć z niej korzystać od 9 maja.
