Gdyńscy seniorzy wypływają w morze
Gdyńscy seniorzy wypływają w morze – swoje żeglarskie marzenia postanowiło spełnić 120 osób w programie „Senior na fali”. Przed nimi ostatnie zajęcia teoretyczne i rejs.
Program dla gdynian powyżej 55 roku życia realizuje Centrum Wychowania Morskiego ZHP a współfinansuje miejski samorząd – by pokazać, że żeglarstwo to nie tylko sport dla młodych. Na zajęciach teoretycznych uczestnicy poznawali kwestie bezpieczeństwa na jachcie, możliwych zagrożeń, środków ratunkowych i ratowniczych oraz obowiązków załogi. Tak przygotowani seniorzy będą wypływać w rejsy jako załoga 14-mterowego jachtu „Warszawska Nike”.
Będą to 4-godzinne wyprawy po Zatoce Gdańskiej pod okiem doświadczonych żeglarzy, rejsy mają się odbywać dwa razy dziennie od 3 do 9 maja. Na niektórych są jeszcze zapasowe miejsca. Informacji o nich szukać można w Centrum Wychowania Morskiego ZHP w Gdyni.
