Wejherowskie starostwo zachęcało do promowania zawodówek
Do aktywnego promowania szkolnictwa zawodowego zachęcało wejherowskie starostwo szefów samorządów powiatu wejherowskiego. Rewitalizacja tego sektora oświaty w całości zdominowała wczorajszy Konwent Samorządów Ziemi Wejherowskiej.
W realizacji zadania pomóc ma rozbudowa sześciu placówek w powiecie wejherowskim i wyposażenie ich w łącznie 46 specjalistycznych pracowni na przestrzeni najbliższych kilku lat. Rolę samorządów gminnych wejherowska starosta Gabriela Lisius upatruje w dotarciu do uczniów szkół gimnazjalnych z informacją o powstającej infrastrukturze edukacyjnej. Uczniów do zawodówek przyciągnąć ma m. in. utworzenie ścieżki edukacyjnej dla 12 nowych zawodów z branży kreatywnej czy turystycznej.
Propozycję starosty samorządowcy przyjęli przychylnie, choć pozostały wątpliwości czy plan będzie skuteczny. Miała je np. wójt gminy Linia Bogusława Engelbrecht. Punktuje potrzeby wójt gminy Wejherowo Henryk Skwarło. Na rewitalizację szkolnictwa zawodowego wejherowskie starostwo chce przeznaczyć ponad 33 miliony złotych. Prawie 27 milionów powiatowy samorząd pozyskał już z unijnych środków.
