W Wejherowie straż miejska rozpoczyna akcję liczenia bezdomnych
Do Wejherowa zjeżdża coraz więcej bezdomnych z całej Polski. Straż miejska rozpoczyna akcję pomocy tym osobom. W zeszłym roku na terenie miasta przebywało około 25 osób, które nocowały najczęściej w pustostanach, piwnicach czy dworcach. Co roku liczeniem bezdomnych a także spisywaniem ich danych zajmuje się Straż miejska. To najczęściej osoby spoza Wejherowa – mówi komendant Zenon Hinca. Jak przyznaje Zenon Hinca bezdomni w Wejherowie mogą liczyć na pomoc MOPS-u a także darmowe posiłki w Kuchni świętego Franciszka. Bezdomność jest często ich własnym wyborem a nie przymusem. Wielu bezdomnych otrzymuje też emerytury i renty socjalne. Akcja liczenia bezdomnych potrwa do końca listopada.
