Majowy weekend w Ostrzycach – 1-2 maja
WIŚTA WIO czyli na kaszubską nutę – Turniej Woźniców i Hodowców Koni Zimnokrwistych na Kaszubach – 1 maja, godz. 13:00.
Impreza o charakterze rekreacyjno-kulturalno-turystycznym z akcentem folklorystycznym dla woźniców, mieszkańców i turystów. Prezentuje narzędzia, zwyczaje Kaszubów. W programie przewidziane są: korowód zaprzęgów, konkursy sprawnościowe, występy kapeli kaszubskich, degustacja kuchni regionalnej (tylko i wyłącznie). Celem jest zachowanie dziedzictwa kulturowego Kaszub i pokazanie folkloru Kaszub. Miejscem zawodów jest pole biwakowe „Stolemek” nad pięknym jeziorem Ostrzyckim.
Celem tej cyklicznej imprezy jest zachowanie dziedzictwa kulturowego Kaszub, promocji folkloru kaszubskiego, kultywowanie języka i muzyki kaszubskiej, pokazania i przybliżenia turystom rodzinnego dowcipu i gadek kaszubskich. Imprezę rozpoczyna przemarsz kapel, które wspólnie na scenie wielkiego namiotu witają gości i bawią wraz z kabaretami do godzin rannych. Jest to wielka gratka zarówno dla mieszkańców jak i turystów przebywających podczas długiego weekendu w Gminie Somonino i na Kaszubach.
