Czy zmodernizują pomnik Aleksandra Majkowskiego?
O modernizację pomnika Aleksandra Majkowskiego w Kościerzynie apelują do burmistrza radni miasta. Pomnik jest zaniedbany i brudny, a przy postumencie widać odpadający tynk.
– Planujemy przenieść go w bardziej widoczne miejsce – zapowiada Michał Majewski.
Aleksander Majkowski to jeden z największych pisarzy kaszubskich związanych z Kościerzyną. Jest autorem powieści „Życie i przygody Remusa”, którego postać od lat widnieje na kościerskim rynku. Najwyższy czas zmodernizować również pomnik jego autora – mówi burmistrz Michał Majewski. Pomnik obecnie znajduje się przy parkingu przy ulicy Szopińskiego nieopodal Urzędu Miasta. Jak zapowiada burmistrz, pomnik ma zostać przeniesiony i zmodernizowany jeszcze w tym roku.
