Światowy Dzień Świadomości Autyzmu w Pucku, Wejherowie i Rumi
Dotyka tysięcy rodzin w Polsce – w weekend obchodziliśmy Światowy Dzień Świadomości Autyzmu.
– Bardzo często przylepia się do nas metkę nieudolnych wychowawczo – mówi Iwona Mostowska ze Stowarzyszenia na Rzecz Osób z Autyzmie.
Budynki użyteczności publicznej podświetlono na niebiesko – rozbłysło m. in. starostwo powiatowe w Wejherowie. Zaś w Filharmonii Kaszubskiej spotkali się rodzice, dzieci, psychologowie i wszyscy, którzy skorzystali z zaproszenia wejherowskiego Stowarzyszenia na Rzecz Osób z Autyzmem. Mimo że dotyka setek tysięcy dzieci na świecie autyzm wciąż jest trudno rozpoznawalną chorobą. Autyzm zubaża zdolność komunikowania emocji, nie pozwala na budowanie relacji interpersonalnych i utrudnia integrację społeczną. Zilustrował to pokazany w Filharmonii Kaszubskiej film o życiu rodziny z autystycznym dzieckiem. Podczas takich edukacyjnych spotkań jak to wejherowskie wsparcia szukają także rodzice.
Z okazji Światowego Dnia Autyzmu jeszcze dziś w Rumi można porozmawiać ze specjalistą i wykonać bezpłatne badania – w poradni prowadzonej przez „Fundację Dobroczyńca”. Konieczna jest rejestracja – telefoniczna bądź mailowa. Warsztaty organizuje też pucka Fundacja Centrum Diagnozy, Terapii i Edukacji. Puckie Dni Autyzmu zaplanowano w dniach 21-24 kwietnia.
