Kierowca – rekordzista z ponad 3 promilami alkoholu
3,5 promila alkoholu miał w organizmie kierowca – rekordzista, którego w wielkanocny poniedziałek zatrzymali kościerscy policjanci. W całej Polsce zatrzymano w okresie świątecznym 740 kierujących na podwójnym gazie.
– Policjanci sprawdzali przede wszystkim prędkość i trzeźwość kierujących – mówi rzecznik kościerskiej policji Piotr Kwidziński.
Jak podsumowują policjanci tegoroczna Wielkanoc nie należała do spokojnych. W naszym województwie do najpoważniejszego wypadku doszło w Wielką Sobotę w Pucku, gdzie rozpędzone audi wjechało w grupę osób idących do kościoła. W wyniku tego zdarzenia dwie osoby zmarły. Od Wielkiego Piątku w Polsce doszło do 180 wypadków, w których zginęły 22 osoby, a 226 zostało rannych. Zatrzymano też 740 pijanych kierowców.
Od maja ubiegłego roku obowiązują w Polsce zaostrzone przepisy dotyczące pijanych kierowców. Za zawartość alkoholu we krwi do 0,2 promila grozi zakaz prowadzenia pojazdów i 30 dni aresztu. Jeśli stężenie alkoholu przekroczy pół promila sąd obligatoryjnie orzeka 5 tysięcy złotych grzywny i karę do 2 lat pozbawienia wolności.
