Wilki i łosie znów zadomowiły się w kaszubskich lasach
W Nadleśnictwie Kartuzy zakończyło się liczenie dzikiej zwierzyny. Wyniki mają posłużyć do sporządzenia wieloletnich planów hodowlanych.
Kartuscy leśnicy napotkali sarny, dziki, zające, lisy i daniela. Po wielu latach zauważono też łosie a nawet wilka. Liczenie odbywa się metodą tyraliery. Kilkadziesiąt osób porusza się w odstępach 30-metrowych, zawężając obadany obszar i notując wszystkie zwierzęta, które go opuszczą. Leśnicy nie podsumowali jeszcze danych, ale już wiadomo, że zwierzyny w kaszubskich lasach jest pod dostatkiem – wyjaśnia Jarosław Pawlikowski z Nadleśnictwa Kartuzy. Leśnicy liczyli zwierzynę na obszarze 10 procent powierzchni Nadleśnictwa Kartuzy.
