Proces w sprawie Amber Gold rozpocznie się z opóźnieniem
W gdańskim Sądzie Okręgowym ogłoszono alarm bombowy.
To najgłośniejsza afera finansowa ostatnich lat, na ławie oskarżonych mieli zasiąść Katarzyna i Marcin P. – założyciele spółki która kusiła klientów wysokim oprocentowaniem i lokowaniem pieniędzy w złoto. Oskarżeni w ramach tzw. piramidy finansowej oszukali w sumie niemal 19 tys. osób na prawie 851 mln zł. Zostali także oskarżeni m. in. o działalność parabankową i pranie brudnych pieniędzy, które wyłudzili od klientów spółki. Katarzynie i Marcinowi P. grożą wyroki do 15 lat pozbawienia wolności.
Proces miał ruszyć o godzinie 09:00, rozprawa zacznie się jednak z dwugodzinnym opóźnieniem. Zwłokę spowodowało podejrzenie o podłożeniu ładunku bombowego w gdańskim sądzie. Budynek trzeba było ewakuować.
