Klasy sportowe wracają do wejherowskich podstawówek
Klasy sportowe wracają do wejherowskich szkół. Uczniowie będą ćwiczyć pod okiem specjalistów w czterech podstawówkach. O wyborze dyscyplin zadecydowały m.in. sportowe tradycje miasta.
W ZSP nr 9 – karate, w ósemce koszykówka, w szóstce będą kopać futbolówkę, a w 11-ce skupią się na piłce ręcznej. Wybór dyscyplin nieprzypadkowy, bo jak tłumaczy przewodniczący Komisji Sportu i Zdrowia, radny Rafał Szlas – to m. in. miejskie kluby, jak Gryf Wejherowo czy KS Tytani zabiegały o reaktywację klas sportowych, z których chcą rekrutować narybek.
Zajęcia prowadzone będą w wymiarze 10 godzin w tygodniu, a klasy mają liczyć maksymalnie 25 uczniów. Aby zostać jednym z nich niezbędna będzie zgoda rodziców, badania lekarskie i pozytywnie zaliczony wstępny egzamin sprawnościowy. Będzie to też nowe doświadczenie dla niektórych pedagogów. Pierwsze klasy sportowe powstaną w Wejherowie w przyszłym roku.
