Walkę o czyste parkingi i chodniki zapowiada Straż Miejska w Wejherowie – chodzi o plamy z oleju silnikowego i ropopochodne, zostawiane przez samochody w złym stanie technicznym.
„Zanieczyszczenia te są trudne do usunięcia i często pozostawiają trwałe ślady. Ponadto stwarzają zagrożenie dla innych uczestników ruchu drogowego, środowiska naturalnego, a plam po tych substancjach widać coraz więcej.” – czytamy w komunikacie na stronie internetowej wejherowskiej Straży Miejskiej. Zapowiedziano w nim wzmożone kontrole miasta pod kątem parkowania pojazdów z nieszczelnymi układami chłodzenia, smarowania i zasilania.
Straż Miejska apeluje również do właścicieli niesprawnych technicznie pojazdów, by występujące nieszczelności w układach jak najszybciej usunęli. Przypomina, że zanieczyszczenie drogi jest wykroczeniem, do za które grozi kara grzywny do półtora tysiąca złotych.
Ponadto policja może zatrzymać kierowcy dowód rejestracyjny, a właściciel pojazdu musi liczyć się również z tym, że poniesie też koszt przywrócenia uszkodzonej nawierzchni drogi do stanu pierwotnego.
