Co was gryzie? Pyta mieszkańców Gdyni tamtejsza policja.
Komenda Miejska zapoznaje się z problemami poszczególnych dzielnic na konsultacjach dotyczących przygotowywania tzw. mapy zagrożeń. Był to też jeden z tematów poruszanych wczoraj na debacie zorganizowanej wspólnie z Wyższą Szkołą Administracji i Biznesu.
– Chcemy przedstawić nasze działania, dzięki którym mieszkańcy miasta mogą czuć się bezpiecznie oraz uzyskać od nich informacje o problemach, na które jeszcze trzeba zwrócić uwagę – mówi gospodarz wczorajszego spotkania, rzecznik policji w Gdyni Michał Rusak.
Jeden z paneli dyskusyjnych poświęcono bezpieczeństwu ruchu drogowego. Eksperci podkreślali, że do największej liczby wypadków drogowych dochodzi z powodu nadmiernej prędkości i nie zwracania uwagi na pieszych. Apelowali też do pieszych o czujność, nawet gdy w mają pierwszeństwo – ponieważ w konfrontacji z samochodem są na przegranej pozycji.
Według policyjnych statystyk ubiegły rok na gdyńskich drogach był udany – zarówno liczba kolizji drogowych jak i przede wszystkim wypadków ze skutkiem śmiertelnym była wyjątkowo niska.
