Wolontariusze poszukiwani w Dzierżążnie
Szpital w Dzierżążnie poszukuje wolontariuszy na nowatorskie turnusy rehabilitacji dzieci z porażeniem mózgowym.
Chodzi o terapię dedykowaną dzieciom z niedowładem połowicznym, prowadzoną w postaci tematycznych turnusów z motywami przewodnimi – jak „Wioska Indiańska” czy „Cyrk”. Terapia jest intensywna, przez 10 dni, po 9 godzin dziennie pacjenci ćwiczą – poprzez zabawę, sport, a także przygotowując posiłek. Każde zadanie jest tak skonstruowane i moderowane, by przy zachowaniu atrakcyjnej formy zajęć prowokowało odpowiedni, terapeutyczny ruch ręki. W konsekwencji w rehabilitację ośmiorga dzieci zaangażowanych jest jednocześnie 14 osób, w tym grupa przeszkolonych wolontariuszy.
Organizatorzy liczą szczególnie na zainteresowanie studentów, którzy chcieliby pomóc niepełnosprawnym dzieciom – a przy okazji zaliczyć praktyki. Turnusy odbędą się w maju, sierpniu i listopadzie tego roku – na Oddziale Rehabilitacji Dziecięcej w Dzierżążnie koło Kartuz.
