Rozbudowę monitoringu w Kościerzynie postuluje tamtejsza straż miejska. To wynik prac nad tworzeniem mapy zagrożeń bezpieczeństwa.
– Chodzi o to, by zaangażować jak najwięcej instytucji w poprawę bezpieczeństwa, dlatego w tworzenie mapy zaangażowała się też Straż Miejska w Kościerzynie – wyjaśnia komendant Tomasz Smuczyński, który był dziś naszym gościem w porannej audycji Dzień Dobry Kaszuby.
Konsultacje, debaty i spotkania w tej sprawie organizowane są w całej Polsce z inicjatywy Ministerstwa Spraw Wewnętrznych i Administracji. Z mapy dowiemy się gdzie i do jakich przestępstw dochodzi najczęściej i gdzie np. trzeba wzmocnić patrole policji. W poprawę bezpieczeństwa wpisuje się też konkurs skierowany do młodzieży ponadgimnazjalnych organizowany przez straże miejskie. Finał dziewiątej Olimpiady Wiedzy o Bezpieczeństwie odbędzie się w kwietniu w Kościerzynie, stawką jest indeks GWSH. Rozmowy z szefem kościerskiej straży miejskiej posłuchać można jeszcze w zakładce Gość DD Kaszuby.
