Czy zmieniony zostanie plan zagospodarowania koryta rzeki Redy?
Do zmiany planu miejscowego planu zagospodarowania korytarza rzeki Redy przymierza się samorząd w Wejherowie. Na prośbę mieszkańców miejscy radni zbadają, czy okoliczne tereny nadają się do zabudowy.
– Mieszkańcy od dłuższego czasu dopytują się o możliwość zagospodarowania tych terenów – mówi wiceprezydent Wejherowa, Beata Rutkiewicz.
Mowa o działkach przylegających do korytarza ekologicznego rzeki na odcinku od ulicy Konopnickej, przez Chopina i Fenikowskiego aż do granicy administracyjnej z miastem Redą. Sprawa jest problematyczna z kilku powodów – przynajmniej połowa gruntów prywatnych tam się znajdujących to tereny zalewowe. – Ze względu na unikalną wartość ekologiczną korytarza analiza musi być bardzo skrupulatna – mówi Beata Rutkiewicz. Pierwsze, wstępne wyniki analizy poznamy najwcześniej w połowie bieżącego roku.
