Gdynia świętowała 90 rocznicę nadania praw miejskich
Z Pucka, z Władysławowa, ale także z Kościerzyny, Wejherowa czy Brus – setki ludzi świętowało wczoraj 96 rocznicę Zaślubin Polski z Morzem. W udekorowanym czarno-złotymi flagami puckim porcie pojawił się prezydent Andrzej Duda, który oddał hołd Kaszubom, za ich rolę w uzyskaniu przez Polskę granicy na Bałtyku.
Na uroczystości był także Marcin Szczepański, który przygotował relację z tego wydarzenia.
Gdynia świętowała 90 rocznicę nadania praw miejskich. Z tej okazji m.in. mieszkańcy w samo południe tłumnie stawili się na skwerze Kościuszki. Był to ważny punkt obchodów, po którym uczestnicy mogli ogrzać się gorącym czekoladowym toastem pod InfoBoxem.
Wieczorem, w Teatrze Muzycznym, odbyła się uroczysta sesja rady miasta z udziałem prezydenta Andrzeja Dudy. Niedaleko teatru zebrał się Komitet Obrony Demokracji, aby protestować przeciwko polityce prezydenta Andrzeja Dudy i Prawa i Sprawiedliwości, Pojawili sie też zwolennicy PiS. Doszło do przepychanek, interweniowała policja i straż miejska.
Gdyńskie uroczystości związanie z 90 rocznicą nadania praw miejskich, potrwają do soboty. Miasto zorganizowało szereg spotkań, wykładów, a także wystawę fotograficzną przed kościołem Najświętszej Maryi Panny Królowej Polski. W sobotę, na koniec świętowania odbędą się zawody biegowe i marsz urodzinowy.
