Sprawdzali się na Mistrzostwach Wiedzy Komputerowej
Za arkuszami, bazami danych i innymi tajnikami wiedzy informatycznej zmierzyli się uczniowie z 14 szkół podstawowych i gimnazjalnych w Wejherowie. W tamtejszym Zespole Szkół nr 1 odbyła się 11 już Mistrzostwa Wiedzy Komputerowej.
– Chcemy aby przygoda uczniów z komputerem nie kończyła się na grach, ale dawała im wymierne korzyści na przyszłość – mówi dyrektor ZSP nr 1, Piotr Litwin.
Celem konkursu jest wspieranie młodych pasjonatów informatyki w ich hobby i pogłębianie ich umiejętności. Konkurs rozegrano w czterech kategoriach – zespołowej i indywidualnej w podziale na podstawówki i gimnazja. Uczestnicy musieli rozwiązać zadania z zakresu m.in obsługi arkuszy kalkulacyjnych, funkcjonowania baz danych czy budowy komputera. Nowością tegorocznej edycji była algorytmika, czyli wstęp do programowania, z którą musieli zmierzyć się gimnazjaliści. Według laureatów mistrzostwa nie były trudna, o ile poprzedzało je rzetelne przygotowanie. W 11 Olimpiadzie Wiedzy Komputerowej wzięło udział 48 uczniów ze szkół w Wejherowie i Rumi.
