Sprawdź termin ważności swojego dowodu osobistego – przypomina na swojej stronie internetowej gmina Gniewino. Do apelu przyłączają się też urzędnicy z Kartuz, podkreślając że wydanie tego dokumentu jest bezpłatne.
Dowody osobiste są wydawane na okres dziesięciu lat, więc w tym roku mija termin ważności dokumentów wydanych w roku 2013. „Liczba osób posiadających nieważne dowody osobiste w ostatnich miesiącach znacznie wzrosła, a w ostatnim kwartale bieżącego roku wygasa ważność dokumentu dla następnych 68 osób” – czytamy w komunikacie na stronie gminy Gniewino. Sekretarz gminy Kartuzy Tomasz Nadolny podkreśla, że „wyrobienie nowego dowodu osobistego jest bezpłatne, nie warto więc czekać z wyrobieniem czy odnowieniem dokumentu”. W przypadku osób nieletnich termin ważności dowodu osobistego jest o połowę krótszy i wynosi 5 lat, więc tracą teraz ważność dokumenty wydane w 2008 roku. Do wniosku o wydanie nowego dowodu osobistego należy dołączyć: 2 aktualne fotografie, procedura komplikuje się jeśli formalności chcemy załatwić poza swoją gminą.
