Pamiątki po Janie Nowaku-Jeziorańskim w Muzeum Emigracji
Słynne krawaty, zdjęcia z czasów wojennych czy modlitewnik – te i wiele innych osobistych przedmiotów Jana Nowaka – Jeziorańskiego wzbogaciło zbiory Muzeum Emigracji w Gdyni. Pamiątki przekazała placówce rodzina Rybickich – przyjaciele legendarnego kuriera Armii Krajowej.
– Jan był bardzo związany z Gdynią – to tu organizował pierwszą siatkę AK w 1943 roku, stąd udał się na emigrację do Ameryki i jest Honorowym Obywatelem tego miasta – tłumaczył decyzję o przekazaniu pamiątek brat Arama, senator Sławomir Rybicki.
Większość spuścizny znajduje się w Zakładzie Narodowym im. Ossolińskich we Wrocławiu. – Te przekazane gdyńskiemu Muzeum pochodzą z prywatnych zbiorów Arkadiusza Arama Rybickiego – działacza KOR i opozycjonisty, który przyjaźnił się ze Janem Nowakiem – Jeziorańskim – dodaje wdowa po Aramie, Małgorzata Rybicka. Słynne krawaty, bez których Jeziorański nigdy nie pokazywał się publicznie, osobisty modlitewnik i magnetofon, na który nagrywał m.in. audycje do Radia Wolna Europa, to niektóre z eksponatów jakie otrzymała gdyńska placówka – Nie mają dużej wartości materialnej, za to historyczną – ogromną – mówi dyrektor Muzeum Emigracji w Gdyni Karolina Grabowicz-Matyjas. Pierwsze obiekty będzie można zobaczyć już w sobotę 6 lutego na wystawie czasowej Muzeum Emigracji, inne zaś zostaną zaprezentowane na wystawie stałej. Ponadto przedmioty zostaną zdigitalizowane i udostępnione szerszej publiczności na całym świecie poprzez stronę internetową: www.muzeumemigracji.pl.
