Wejherowskie muzeum wyda opracowanie tańców kaszubskich
W 25 rocznicę śmierci folklorysty Pawła Szefki muzeum w Wejherowie chce wydać nowe opracowanie tańców kaszubskich. Książka ma powstać na podstawie 4 zeszytów folkloru kaszubskiego wydawanych w drugiej połowie dwudziestego wieku.
– W tym roku mija 25 lat od śmierci Pawła Szefki i to dobra okazja do wznowienia jego publikacji – mówi dyrektor Muzeum Piśmiennictwa i Muzyki Kaszubsko – Pomorskiej w Wejherowie Tomasz Fopke.
Ich autorem był nauczyciel ze Strzebielina Paweł Szefka. Grając ze swoją rodzinną kapelą na różnorodnych wiejskich festynach i weselach w latach 1918 – 36 obserwował lokalne zwyczaje, tańce i pieśni. Wspólnie ze Zbigniewem Madejskim zebrał je i opracował, a książki były wydawane od lat 50. ubiegłego wieku. Stały się podstawą rozwoju folkloru kaszubskiego i źródłem wiedzy dla instruktorów zespołów pieśni i tańca. Muzeum chce pozyskać na wydanie książki dofinansowanie z Ministerstwa Kultury. W ramach projektu miałby się odbyć również kurs, który zakończyłby się uzyskaniem certyfikatów instruktora tańca kaszubskiego.
